About my practice:

The first function of psychotherapy is to reduce suffering and favor personal growth. This requires a collaborative relationship based on trust and respect. Using integrative and evidenced-based approaches to therapy, I use the framework of Coherence therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy and Schemas-focused therapy. I also draw on theoretical psychodynamic foundations. Together they take into account the multiple factors influencing behaviours.

I have completed the internship and coursework requirements for the doctoral degree program in Counselling Psychology at McGill University. I have trained with Drs Hallowell and Ratey, renowned leaders in the field of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADD/ADHD), to specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of ADD/ADHD in adolescents and adults.

A sense of coherence is a global orientation to view the world and the individual environment as comprehensible, manageable, and meaningful (Antonovsky,1993).
