About my practice:

Work with teens and adults will focus on clearly identifying the factors contributing to current

struggles and developing strategies to help overcome the difficulties that they are experiencing.

The therapeutic process is client-focused and aimed at a guiding you to a clearer understanding

of self, and the behaviours that contribute to the problems experienced along with providing you with concrete tools to help you throughout the therapeutic process and beyond.

Work with children and families will focus on helping regain a balance in relationships between

parents and children, adaptations to separation and divorce and strategies to deal with diagnoses, as well as work on the emotional and relational impact that this may have on families. We work through play, discussion and direct intervention with family members.

Through a combination of a cognitive-behavioural approach, a strengths-based approach and a

systemic approach, we will work together to help you reach your goals of therapy. We will start

from where you are and move at a pace that is comfortable to you to meet your goals and create change in the areas of your life that you identify as difficult or problematic.

My areas of specialization include life transitions, sudden onset/ chronic medical conditions,

loss/ grief work, anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationship difficulties, child/parent dynamics, ADHD/ASD support to children and families, restoring life balance following change

and self-care.
