About my practice:

I believe that effective psychotherapy begins with a collaborative and trusting relationship between the client and therapist. I work collaboratively with clients to identify goals, needs, and changes that are most important to them. I practice from a psychodynamic and multicultural approach, working together to understand how past experiences and relationships inform behaviours, emotions, and perspectives. I also offer art therapy. As an art therapist, I believe that creativity and art-making processes promote recovery and self-exploration and encourage the development of insight into life situations and traumatic experiences. It is the stories in the images and art making that help lead to the process of healing. My role is to support clients on their journey towards healing, while providing them with the tools and guidance that will lead towards personal growth, insightful reflections, and meaningful change.

Sessions are in person, via zoom or telephone.

Treatment orientation: Art Therapy, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Family Systems, and Sand-play therapy.
